Welcome to the online portfolio and blog of Rodolphe, an independent filmmaker with an addiction for out-of-the-ordinary pictures.

Quiet Company

Sarah and Peter chose the exclusive venue of Ballyfin Demesne in County Laois for their Wedding Day. They were joined by a large party of family and friends for the afternoon ceremony in the main function room. Later on, guests were treated to a nice surprise as they took some fresh air just before dinner.
Congratulations and a big thank you to Sarah and Peter for inviting me to capture their celebrations.

I will miss using the 100 d Ektachrome revearsal films which were used for the Super 8mm outdoor shots as Kodak announced early January the end of its production.

Saints alive

I had the chance to be part of Susan and Alan’s big celebration last August in Wexford. Despite some unfortunate events leading up to the day,  there were plenty of great moments to catch.
This is a small taste of the day.

Something comes over me

Three wedding rings, splendid venue, chilled out fashion bride and groom and a bunch of crazy friends. What a fabulous day ! Photography Monsieur et Madame Masterson.

We can go dancing

It was on a rare sunny day this Summer when Paul and Annemarie tied the knot in Co. Tipperary. Annemarie got ready in her parents house in Clonmel while Paul spent his last night as a single man in Raheen House. While friends and family enjoyed the reception at Raheen House, I had the pleasure of accompanying the bride and groom, along with photographer, Shane O’Neill on a scenic photoshoot in the hills surrounding Clonmel. These days many couples think that it’s not important to have “The wedding car”…..and maybe it isn’t but when you pick the right one it can bring so much visually to your film or stills. Check the polaroid from Aspect Photography.

Danke für die schöne Zeit

Congratulations to Jördis and Gavin who recently celebrated their wedding at Waterford Castle. It was a fun and relaxed day with the happy couple being surrounded by so many friends and family. An international gathering with several guests traveling from Germany and Australia to celebrate this special occasion.

Une Fille et Un Garçon

Last June I packed my two cameras to fly to France for Clem and Michelle’s wedding. A nice little short trip in my home country. I won’t tell you how pretty the setting was in chateau rigaud or how tasty the food was as this short clip depicts it all but I will tell you I had a great time filming friends and family enjoying this special day in Michelle and Clem’s life. It was a pleasure to work with Anna, the Wedding co-ordinator at the chateau and the photographer Melissa who captured the day with her unique vision.

I think we’re alone now

Wedding at Cromleach Lodge, Co. Sligo. The day started with a clay pigeon shooting session followed by an outdoor ceremony and finished with a footloose dance, some very precious moments…Congratulations to the happy couple.
Thanks to Karen for inspiring me with her choice of music.
