Bubble Gum

I recently collaborated on a shoot with Shane O’Neill for budsandberries in Bellinter House, Co. Meath. Photos and clip yet to be released. In the meantime, take a peek at this mini-clip. It captures the art of trying to blow the perfect bubble to get a slow motion effect. It didn’t work out the way we wanted but model, Daniella Moyles wasn’t giving up!

Time In Barberstown Castle,

Here is a short timelapse I did last night at Paul and Vicky ‘s Wedding in Barberstown Castle, Co. Kildare. 1000 photos for this short clip. Filmed with a canon 7d lens ef-s 17-55mm.
Thanks to Vicky and Paul. I had a great night.
Music by the excellent artist Kellen and Me title “Age of Eight”.

Super 8mm A porcelain Tale

While filming A Porcelain Tale in Ballynatray Estate, recently published on www.100layercake.com, I had the chance to put the camera, Canon 514XL to the test. I was very excited to get the negatives back from the lab a few days ago and get working on the clip. The negative film used was vision3 200t. Here is the result…very pleased overall but a bit more practice needed, a few more tests to be carried out and then looking forward to being able to propose the Super 8 option to all future Wedding couples.

Paddy’s day, 2011

Another 17th March and another Paradeā€¦. time to try out the new lens 70-200mm f2.8 usmII.

Newbridge was full of green again this year and the streets were buzzing with small leprechauns trying to escape from their parents.
The best seat in the house was taken by ‘Mr.X’ above McDonnells Pub.
